When Last We Met Our Jointed Hero…

…he was running (probably as far and as fast away from my lack of drawing skill as he could).

Today he carries a burden. A burden that was difficult to balance in his arms.

As a drawing I like it better than yesterday but not as much as the first. 

I think the shadows came out much better than previous ones have.
However, the figure’s limbs are not as proportional as I have done before, though the angles seem consistent and more accurate than they have been.

The connecting shadow turned out better. It probably helps that I drew the line for where the wall starts.

Today I used a hard charcoal pencil as opposed to regular graphite pencil. (Pose 1 was an HB, pose 2 was a 4B). I like the result better than pencil, so I might continue with this.
