This week is a big, stressful time for my husband. His choir hosts their biggest event/concert of the year: Madrigal Dinner. It’s a huge money maker dinner-event thing. Parents do the food, students provide the entertainment in the form of songs, skits, medieval costumes and theme, and even the orchestra plays. Choir members are also servers. It always goes well, but he gets super stressed.
To honor the event (though not the stress, poor guy) this week’s sketch theme will be medieval. Expect castles, crowns, maybe other buildings, or an outfit/dress or two.
Bear with me as many of these are likely beyond my skill level. Today I started with a very simple castle, using one of those “how to draw a ___” worksheet for kids. It’s OK for what it is, and I like that I used a variety of pen tips, but it would have benefitted from both a ruler and a pencil sketch first.
